What should data literacy instruction look like? How can we authentically engage people who wouldn’t describe themselves as ‘math’ people? How do we meet people where they are, engaging their lived experience and knowledge?
Can we move a group to learn using short handouts (or other media), instructive materials with clear goals? For this, you will need to be organizers, activists, journalists, designers, and educators. You need to create popular data literacy teachings for the common good.
